The mood here is one of gentle attentiveness. Staff move with a quiet kindness, ready to guide without hovering, creating a space where you can comfortably explore at your own pace. There’s a calm sincerity in the way the restaurant embraces its guests, as if it’s a favorite local’s secret tucked away but generously shared.
As you peruse the menu, the sense of thoughtful care extends to the food itself. Dishes arrive as fresh, harmonious combinations—each bite echoing traditional Japanese balance yet open to the local palate’s warmth. Whether you find yourself drawn to a delicately crafted roll or a humble bowl of miso soup, there’s a genuine feeling that every element has been chosen with care. The sushi rice holds just the right stickiness, and the seafood feels fresh and bright, creating a nuanced texture and flavor that unfold slowly and satisfyingly.
For those seeking variety, options comfortably fold in vegetarian choices and heartier teriyaki plates, allowing the meal to feel personalized without pushing extremes. There’s a pleasing honesty to the portions, enough to feel generous yet mindful—not oversized or extravagant.

This place is honestly a gem. The food is very good. I had a bento box, and it was very yummy!!! And the price was very reasonable. I also had the fried ice cream!! Very good :)

Ordered nigiri, two large rolls, and green tea. The maguro nigiri was good, very generous size and well prepared. The first of the two rolls was a "Hot Night Roll" with spicy salmon, and cucumbers on the inside, salmon, thin sliced lemon, jalapeno, and a dot of Sriracha. It was really excellent, the only flaw being one slice of lemon was a little thick which made that one piece chewy. The second was a classic, a spider roll, and everything was exactly as it should be. The servers were friendly, attentive, and kept the green tea hot and as full as we wanted. Really enjoyed this place.

Great food and nice workers. I have celiac with Lactose issues and love this place. They take precautions with the sushi and have gluten free soy sauce. They don't have many gluten free options but what they have is good though you might need to talk with them a bit to find out.

Genuinely some of the best pokebowl and sushi ive tried in vancouver! Definitely plan on coming back soon :) the portions are great, the rice was moist enough and stuck together so well! Ordered a pokebowl and two sushi plates and have 0 complaints. The server was attentive, the restaurant has a good noise level, and while the restaurant is a little small, its set up in a way that doesnt feel cramped :3

The location this place is on a really cool street that is blocked off from traffic so I recommend you check out this place and other places around it. As for the sushi, I had the chirasi bowl and it was good. I've had better but decent sushi good size portions. The one thing I did not like about the charasi bowl was this is the first time I've ever ever had it with hot rice and I didn't mind the hot rice but they put the hot rice right next to the sashimi and it started steaming some of the sashimi.

It was great sushi my husband had teriyaki chicken and it was good too 2nd time we went. We both got bento boxes. Hubby got chicken and tempura, the shrimp and asparagus was delicious; but the root end of the asparagus was very woody. The ginger is also stringy. The pork teriyaki had grisel. The goza was amazing as was the miso soup.
